Can Grandparents of a Minor Mother Limit Father's Access To The Baby
We live in Indiana
My son is 18 and his girlfriend is 17 (just turned) they have been together for 2 years now, she is 5 months pregnant. Her parents want them to give them guardianship of baby but they said no. So now her parents are making it hard on my son and his girlfriend. Not letting them see each other, and so on. My son has paid for everything so far, medical, his girlfriends maternity clothes, shoes, everything for the baby, he even has to pay his girlfriends cell phone bills.
My question is after the baby is born, can her parents keep him from seeing the baby? I know they can his girlfriend since she is only 17 and they are still in control of her, but what about the baby?

Re: My son's girlfriend is pregnant
He can get a visitation order through the courts for access to the baby.

When paternity is established (LEGALLY), your son needs to file for Custody/Visitation/Support. The courts will award him a visitation schedule. The girls parents CAN keep your son from their daughter but CAN NOT prevent court ordered visitation.

Re: My son's girlfriend is pregnant
Ok what if his girlfriend allows him to take the baby for a few hours or so before they go to court, can her parents stop him from doing so?

No. They can't control decisions the girl is making in regards to HER child.
