What Can I Do About My Mom Abandoning Me, in Texas

I am 15 and am living with a friend from school cause my mom abandoned me. Im planning to get a job, so could i get emancipated when i turn 16? how would i go about that??
can i file abandonment charges on her now?? how would i do that?
Im really confused right now, so any help would be apprecitated.

Where is your mother? Have you heard from her at all? Where is your father? Do you have any other family to stay with? Has ANYONE called Child Protective Services?
