What does your insurance policy say about your coverage for collision damage?
collision is not of concern. PL and PD are what would pay to the other driver if OP is at fault.
I could find nothing that would remove your liability for the damages and no reason your insurance company would not be required to cover your liabilities just as it would typically.
I read that backwards, and thought he was asking about damage to his own car.
Thanks for the input. I was just wondering because this is my first accident and wasn't too sure about how my insurance works. Also PD = Property Damage right? Then what is PL? Thanks again.
PL personal liability. It would cover things like injuries to the other party.
Have you ever thougt of calling your insurance company? If you were in an accident, you really should be calling your company to report it to them at least.
