Unhappy Property Rights After Long Cohabitation

This is a question regarding real estate ownership in Minnesota. My father was married when he passed away, leaving everything to his wife. They were seperated at the time of his passing and he was living with another woman. The other woman claims a 15 year relationship and tried to claim all his personel property. She lost that battle, but several things he owned went missing during the legal process. If he lived with her for 15 years, is the home she owns (his name is not on the deed) part of his estate?

Why would it be? As you note, he wasn't married to her and he's not on the title.
