    Default Bonding Leave

Under CFRA, when must one meet the eligibility requirements for Bonding leave? For example, an employee has been working for 7 months prior to giving birth. She is not eligible for Bonding following her pregnancy disability and must return to work. My question is, does she have to meet the eligibility requirements at the time of birth or is she entitled to take bonding leave several months down the road (when she's hit the twelve month mark) as long as she completes any leave within one year of the child's birth?
