Unhappy Scared an Abusive Father May Get Custody
I am four months pregnant and just moved to Texas from Arizona. I am originally from Texas but lived in Arizona for three years. The reason I moved back to Texas is to be with my family because the father of the baby was physically and emotionally abusing me. He says he will fight me for custody of the baby and that he can even make me move back to Arizona. Is this true? I don't want him to have anything to do with the baby because I am terrified of him. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

He doesn't have any right to try to make you do anything until he establishes paternity, and it sounds like by the time the child is born he will have to bring his paternity action in Texas.
