H1 Transfer Before Joining

Hi all, I got H1B approved with one employer which will be starting from Oct 2007. However, i now have a better offer and I want to know if I can get my visa transferred before I start in Oct. Is it possible to transfer an H1B to a new employer before even starting with the one who actually filed the visa? Look forward to your opinion. Thanks.

I don't know of any way to get portabilty absent having the H1b stamped, then starting with the employer. You are free, though, to seek other opinions.
