Unhappy What Can Happen After You Let Vehicles Go Back
My husband and I had a veh loan here in TX, we went ahead and let both vehicles go back because we could not afford to make the payments on them. They did sell the vehicles but we still owe them almost 20K. If we do not make arrangements with them on paying back the rest of the balance. How far can they take us and can they garnish our wages if we do not pay them back?? What can they do to us???

Please help me..

Default Re: What can happen
They can sue you in court & if they get a judgment against you, they can seize all assets that are non-exempt in your state. They shouldn't be able to garnish your wages in Tx. for the balance owed (not allowed) but they can seize bank accts., etc.
