Default Statute of Limitations For Police Misconduct

I am attempting to research the statute of limitaion law in the state of Florida. I was told that the statute of limitaions for law enforcement officers pertaining to criminal acts while a policer officer does not expire until 2 years after seperation or retirement. Can anyone help with this one?

You can try to find such a law here. I doubt it exists.
