Default Omission of Information on a Ticket

Okay, I've seen a lot of "wrong information" threads, but I have a slightly different situation...

I have a ticket that has two violations on it... speeding and no front plate.

The ticket was issued in Houston, TX. My DL/address and all that are correct. So, I was sitting down to read over how much I owed and what not. I noticed there is a payment schedule of amounts. For each instance of speeding, there is a different amount. For speeding in a school zone, for speeding in a posted sign area, for speeding in a construction zone... there are all different fees.

So, I look on my ticket to see which one I was ticketed for and there was an omission. On the ticket, it lists different types of violations. #1 is speeding and you have 5 boxes to choose from: Construction Zone, Workers present, School Zone, Sign, and flashing beacon. NONE of these are checked... so I don't know which one I was sited for.

My second question is that the ticket claims that the speeding ticket took place at "IH 45 + Waugh upon Allen Pkwy" Waugh and IH45 NEVER intersect and Waugh and Allen Parkway was NOT where I was ticketed. I didn't reach Waugh and Allen Parkway for another Mile or so. ALSO, the missing license plate was quoted as being at 1700 Allen Parkway. I was quoted a ticket with TWO different addresses when the Officer was STATIONARY and the speeding violation was quoted as a place that my vehicle did not come to until AFTER the ticket was issued and I was WELL out of site of the officer.

    Anything I can do here?

Could the 45+ be your speed?

Is there a "business loop" for I-45 in Houston?

45 was not my speed. He says he clocked my car (which was surrounded by a half dozen other cars) at 50 in a 40. That is written on the ticket.

There is not a business loop or anything else for IH-45 other than the highway itself.

I guess you'll have to ask the officer to clarify what he meant, should you dispute the charge in court.
