Default Where Is An Internet Business Considered To Be Located

Im planning to start a business selling a service in the internet.
For legal and tax purposes, in general what would be consider the location of the business if there is no "brick and mortar " store.
    Thanks

It is located in the state or states where you conduct business operations. It is possible to be sued in other states, depending upon your business conduct.

For other nations, check the laws of those other nations. For the U.S., the answer remains the same.
