Marriage License and Marriage in Michigan

I am a US citizen my gf lives outside the US and isn't a US citizen. We are in our 30's and I hope we don't need parental consent... hehehe...

She's visiting and I want to suprise her w/ a wedding.

My question is...
Is she or are we eligible to get a marriage license? and then get married civily by the courts?

I saw online that for a marriage license each party needs a SSN but I know she doesn't have one.

You should not have any problem getting a marriage license as you don't have to be a citizen to marry in the U.S.

Oakland County's marriage license information page is here. The law is the same statewide, but you will have to get the license in the county where you intend to marry.
