Default Landlord Is Trying To Charge A Full Month's Rent

    Hello,

Here are the facts of my situation

    1) I am a renter in the state of Washington
    2) I am in year two of a lease that reverted to a month-to-month after 12months.
    3) lease requires 20 days written notice to vacate. I gave notice about 22 days prior to my planned move out date of June 7th.
    4) Rent is normally due on 1st of the month. I asked for prorated rent for June 1st to June 7th, landlord says no pro-rating and that I owe her for the whole month of June.

Question: Do I really have to pay for the whole month of June?
