My question is If both parents are not married baby born wet-lock HOW CAN THEY GIVE JOINT CUSTODY WHEN HE NEVER WS THERE FOR ME DURING MY PG TIME, AND WANTED ME TO HAVE AN ABORTION NOW HE WANTS JOINT?
iS THERE ANYWAY THE FATHER OF THE BABY HAVE RIGHTS TO ADD HIS NAME ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITHOUT MY CONSENT HE DID IT AND THEN CALLED ME AND LEFT ME A MESSAGE THAT HE ALREADY GOT A BIRTH CERTIFICATE OF THE BABY> EVEN THOUGH HE HAS JOINT CUSTODY WITH ME CAN HE DO THAT?
IF HE FILES FIRST PAPERS IN ANOTHER COUNTY, IS THAT MESSES WITH MY JURISDICTION IN MY COUNTY? EVEN THOUGH WE WEREN'T MARRIED? AND HE MADE IT SEEM WE WERE IN COURT ALL ALONG TILL FINALLY i CAUGHT UP TO IT WILL THAT CHANGE ANYHTING ON THE JURISDICTION OR HAVING TO FILED FIRST? AND IF IT DOES WHAT CAN i DO i NEED HELP?
If he is determined to be the father by a court's order, the birth certificate can be corrected pursuant to the court's order. A court can make a custody determination in accord with what it determines to be the best interest. If you feel something was filed in the wrong county, get a lawyer and try to obtain a change of venue to the proper county.
