Flying With A Misdemeanor Bench Warrant

So in November 2005, I was issued a ticket in Orange County, CA for misdemeanor possession of marijuana. I went to the Orange County court appearance 1 month later, and was told that my ticket hadn't been put into their system yet, and that I would either be contacted at a later date or it might go away. She stamped the back of the ticket to prove I showed up, and I left. I then moved from California to Nevada a few months later, never hearing about the situation again. Then a few months ago, I was forwarded a bench warrant notice for failure to appear from my old California address. My new bail amount is set for $600 now, but I never received any notice to appear since I had moved. It says I can only pay in person, and I have not yet resolved this yet. I have tried contacting people at the Orange County court system through the phone numbers and addresses provided on the bail notice, and I have sent letters asking them about the situation, but have not been able to find out anything about it.

Unfortunately, I am flying to Los Angeles next week, and I want to know if I could possibly get arrested in the airport? Also, is there a way to resolve this bail without having to travel all the way to OC, I have the money to pay, I just don't want to get arrested.
