Question Occupational Accident vs Workers Comp
i had rotator cuff surgery p/t and recently a F C E and now i find out that i have occupation accident instead of workman comp. can anyone tell me the difference between the two?

If you're not an employee, then you wouldn't be covered by workers' comp. Presumably you're obtaining benefits through a program for workers not covered by comp. As you are reluctant to make clear in what state you are making your claim, I suggest you check the laws of Louisiana and North Carolina for additional details.
