    Default Self-incrimination

After paying their bond to get out of jail after an arrest, can a judge then order them to write a letter of apology to the sherrifs dept. for the alleged allegations, before your free to go?She was told that if she didnt write the letter she would not be released. Arent you innocent until proven guilty in a court of law? It seems she's allready been convicted before the court date.

    Default Condition of Bond

If the judge compels somebody to write what amounts to a confession as a condition of getting a bond, it would seem to be an undue burden of the prisoner's Fifth Amendment "right to remain silent".
