My fiancee is in the process of getting half custody of her child after an illegal adoption. She never signed her rights away and tried to get him back in the first two months after she gave him up. Very involved reasons for giving up in the first place. The couple and the courts seem to be making this as hard as possible for her. The court gave her a half custody ruling but actually getting it is the hard part. She just wants to be a part of her sons life. Any help would be great. The courts even recognized the adoption as illegal, yet wouldn't give her full custody because the other couple had him for a year and it would be a problem for the child. That year they had him was illegal, can they be sued for that. Any help?
