Help With DWLR Charges

I was convicted of DWLR in NC, I have been convicted of it many times. I paid a lawyer a considerable amount of money to have these charges taken care of and when I pulled a driving record on myself after I waited the 3 years of not driving, I found that some of the charges were still there and pending, I have contacted this lawyer and she told me to call the clerk of courts office. I did this and they told me that she would have to prove that the charges were taken care of and when I called and told her this she never called me back. I have left numerous messages for her and she never returns my calls. This all was taken care of in 1998, I havent had my DL in almost 12 years, I have never been convicted of anything except speeding and DWLR, I have never had a accident or drunk driving charge. Is there anything I can do as far as this lawyer and how can I get this taken care of so I can get a liscense in the state I live in now. Thanks in advance.

It isn't clear what you mean by "taken care of". If you failed to attend court as ordered, or failed to pay fines or comply with the terms of the sentence, you will need to do so in order to resolve the old cases.
