Expungement Advice

I was arrested and charged with a felony before my 18th birthday, I was then dragged along in the court system until I was almost 19 years of age. I took a plea bargain because of the officer that charged me was trying to pin everything that happened in my neighborhood on me. I was told that with this plea I would be able to serve my time as a juvenile and that when I got out and did my probation that they would expunge the charge from my record. But that isnt the case I recently applied for a job and they turned me down because of this charge, I would of had the job if I hadnt had this on my record. I would like to know how I can take care of this and what I can do aobut it. Any information that can point me in a good direction would be great. Thanks in advance.
