Adoption in Virginia

My boyfriends mom want to adopt me Im 14 and live in Va
she lives in Pa my boyfriend doesnt live there anymore but my mom didnt give consent to it and she never will.. but she is a drunk and a heavy drugie and she yells at me and I have to buy my own food and my boy friends mom loves me and has taken care of me and got me food and clothes/ things i need and want for the past 3 years... and I want her to be my mom.. is there anything i can do to go live with her?

One very important detail you have overlooked is the fact that if your boyfriend's (the father of your maybe baby and thus skating very thin ice, legally, at this time) mother adopts you, your boyfriend will then become your brother.

There is not the proverbial snowball's chance in hades that your bf's mother will be able to adopt you. You cannot just go live with her.

If you are being abused or neglected, contact CPS to get help. Frankly, you are 14 years old with a live in 18 year old boyfriend who may have impregnated you. This is a bad situation all the way around and all of the adults seem to be complicit in this.

I don't think so. She sent me a PM wanting clarification on what the statute stated. It didn't really strike me as "fruit cake lady", but maybe she is evolving.

I'll trust you. However, the thought of my BFs mom adopting me so that I'd be my BFs sister is just EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
