    Default Obtaining Medical Records

I need to find out how to start a case against a doctor for not releasing my records. The law I have, but no one ever taught how to generatre the proper pleadings, what they should say, and who they go to.

Can y'all reccommend a good book ? (North Carolina)

    Default Medical Records

Medical records are generally the property of the doctor, clinic or hospital. They will generally release records to another treatment provider, or provide copies to a patient, although there may be a copying fee.

Is there some reason you need to litigate this issue?

I need the records for my own files and to show that pulling my drivers license was a bad idea.
