My husband allowed his birth daughter to be adopted my her step father a few years ago. Now we have found her pic on myspace and my husband is sick with regret on allowing the adoption. We are wondering if it is legal for him to contact his birth daughter after allowing her to be adopted in Texas. She is now 13 yrs old.

Unless there's a court order which holds otherwise, it's no more or less legal than his contacting any other thirteen-year-old girl.
