Default Credit Card Company Suing, in Texas
Last night I got served papers saying I was being sued. I am commanded to appear by filing a written answer to the county clerk. What should I do? If I reply what should I say?

Q: What should I do?

A: Appear.

Q: If I reply what should I say?

A: In your written answer that you file with the court and give to the creditor's lawyer and to the court, say this: "In response to paragraph #[x] of the creditor's complaint, I [agree/disagree/agree with this part...and disagree with this part....]"
