Question Statute of Limitations on a Mileage Claim
Hi: I am new to this forum and hope to be of help as well to get of some help on California WC issues...

My question is: if there is a time limit to file mileage reinbursements i.e. statute of limitation to submit mileage claim.. I have not filed for mileage in three years because felt I was being fair and not claim for mileage. Lately the insurance has started to get very difficult in approving and are questioning treatment and prescriptions. In response, I will start claiming mileage to and from the doctors and any WC injury related expense.
Again, how far back can I go in time and claim mileage for trips to Dr. etc..
Thank you

I am not sure of the deadline. I suggest you claim it all and see what happens.

As I see it, the worst that can happen from submitting a claim for everything is that you get a letter back stating, "We only have to pay you from date X forward."

best case, even if the statute has run, they cut you a check anyway.
