Question Effect of Misdemeanor Conviction on Immigration

I was in the US, North Carolina in 2004, was convicted with class C misdemeanor, here are details of the case -
    CHG/ARRN OFFN : F Embezzlement (charged offense)
CONVICTED OFFENCE : M Misdemeanor larceny
    SENTENCE LENGTH : 30days - SENTENCE TYPE : C (community service)
    Probation : 12 months unsupervised.
    Fine - $50
The probation and community service bit was withdrawn as I was to leave the country within a few days.
if I get married to a green card applicant/green card holder, what are my chances of getting immigration into the US?

Embezzlement is a crime of moral turpitude; I'm not sure if you avoided that with the plea. But it is quite possible that the conviction would affect your eligibility for immigration. I would suggest consulting an immigration lawyer for a detailed review of your situation.
