    Default Property Tax Solution

Has anyone successfully returned his or her land to allodial? By this I simply mean, have you effectively resolved the property tax?

Land in most of the many states is by nature held in allodium. What most people don't understand is how they contract to pay taxes to the state. All that aside, I'm curious if any members have successfully purchased a property without contracting to be taxed, or paid off [easier] the contract altogether.

Just to put it in contract, the state of Nevada has observed the quantities of people doing so and written more statutes: there are now 2 statutory avenues to perfecting allodial title in NV

Well, there you go. Move to Nevada and give it a shot.

You miss the point. The solution is the same in all states. The state of NV simply created their own unique "pay-off-the-contract" method, so they won't keep losing money.

No, I didn't miss any point. You consistently don't have the first clue as to what the law means. First you think you can take other people's land, including the land of the government, if you pretend that you can put it to a better use. Now you think you can get away without paying property tax. Whatever.

What good are your opinions? You are welcome to comment after you've read about Allodial Title in Nevada.

I doubt you would read it for yourself, so here is an exerpt:
although the regular homestead exemption provides no protection against legal process to enforce the payment of obligations contracted for the purchase of the property, or for improvements made thereon (including any mechanic's lien lawfully obtained), or for legal taxes, or for any mortgage or deed of trust executed upon the property, NRS 115.010 (3), the holder of an allodial title is fully exempt from all of these under the homestead laws. NRS 115.010 (4).
Notice the distinction between "obligations contracted for the purchase of the property" and "legal taxes". What type of tax is property tax - direct, or indirect?

And you don't read well enough to understand that you're proving my point - you can't escape property taxes?
Quote Quoting You Prepay All Taxes For Life
The treasurer must calculate, separately, the amount that must be paid in a lump sum, and for the payment in installments over a period of not more than 10 years. [NRS 361.900 (3).] These "amounts must be calculated to the best ability of the state treasurer so that the money paid plus the interest or other income earned on that money will be adequate to pay all future tax liability of the property for a period equal to the life expectancy of the youngest titleholder of the property." Oh I see. You don't want to answer questions, you only post insults. Was that part of law school?

You can't even get allodial title in NV anymore. Texas is the only state left where it can be done.

You can get an allodial title for a car though thru some dealers if you pay cash for the new car. Otherwise the government has partial ownership in that too.
