Default Upcoming arraignment for false charges
My son broke up with his girlfriend and the next day she filed charges that he bit her three days before. The policeman who took him in said if it were up to him he would not take him in but that he had to because she made the charges. My son has a witness that her story is full of holes. I had also spoken to her the next day following her supposed abuse (before her charges) and she also told me the same story as my son about the night before....totally different scenario and locations than her charges. Is there nothing we can do until he is arraigned tomorrow? He has been sitting in jail since Monday. I'm thinking he'll just have to wait it out but it's frustrating when things look so cut and dry.

Default Arraignment & Bond Hearing
If he has not had a bond hearing yet, or bond has not otherwise been set, the bond will probably be set at the arraignment. Once bond is set, he can post bond and will be released pending further proceedings for his case.
