Default Figuring Out When The Statute Of Limitation Starts To Run
I am in Washington State. I lived in Texas when I opened the credit card accounts, but moved to Washington(jan 2001) and used the cards for 2 years before being unable to pay.(summer 2003)

I am trying to figure out the exact date of SOL for a Citibank credit card, and a Providian credit card. I last paid on the old credit cards in 2003.

I know I last paid on my Citibank card in August 2003. I quit paying the Providian credit card before August 2003. I know the SOL has run an expired on both debts, but I would like to know the exact date.

How can I figure this out? Would either Citibank or Providian be bale to tell me?

Thank you.

Default Re: SOL Question
Get a copy of your credit report, and see what date is listed for the last activity on your accounts.

I am looking at my Trans Union credit report. I am not sure how to determine date of last activity.

There is a fall off date. Do I subtract seven years from that, to determine the date of last activity?

Example...say an account will fall off July 2010. Does that mean I last paid on that account in July 2003? And,the Sol expires in July 2006.(my state has a 3 year SOL for credit cards)

Thanks.
