Do you still have residence in Michigan?
Don;t know what Ontario allows but typically you must surrender your current license when applying for a new one in another jursidiction.
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I am still maintaing a residence here. I will leave my home and cars in Michigan and work in Ontario for about 8-9 months each year for the next 3 years. I need an Ontario license since my employer will provide me with a car there. I need a Michigan license so that I can keep my current cars registered in Michigan.
An odd situation indeed.
I don;t know anything about Canada's requirements so I can;t really speak to that. I did a little online research and it doesn't really state if you are to give up your MI/US license.

It would seem as long as your are maintaining a Michigan residency, you should be allowed to maintain your Michigan/US license.
