Unhappy Received summons
I received a summons for a credit card collection agency. I called the court and they told me I have to answer the summons but couldn't tell me how just that it should be written properly or the judge would reject it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to write one or where I could get the form online for it.

Default Re: Received summons
Court procedures are different in each state. You can ask the court, or check your states court websites, to see if any standard forms are available. Generally speaking, you answer by admitting, denying, or stating that you have insufficient information to admit or deny the allegations raised by the other side, and raising any affirmative defenses (e.g., the debt is paid, the statute of limitations, etc.) which may apply.
