Default Shoplifting - what will the fine be?

Ok I was just charged with shop lifting $45 dollars worth of merchandise. I was in Walmart abd I was called back in when I was leaving. The security guard took down my information and then waited for the cops to arrive. When they did they took down my information as well and then I was giving a paper from the store saying I was not allowed back and that they were sueing me. Then the cops handed me my citation for a 1st offense in shoplifting.

Since the amount is under $50 i know that I won't get jail time at all. I was wondering though does anyone know aproximatley how much I would get fined? What should I do? I just moved out on my own, 18 years old, and don't want my parents to know. Any ideas on what the fine would be and any advice on the situation would be greatly appreciated. By the way this is a first time offense other than this my record is clean.
