Default Texas Workers Comp Question
I was hurt on the job three years ago here in Houston. I have Four Herinated Discs in my Neck, I had to have a Spinal Fusion ASAP because one of the Discs was 7MM and causing Sever pain in my left arm. After the surgery I had more pain in my Neck than ever as I do today. It is intolerable and I am stuck living this way the rest of my life. I am no longer able to work, Dr.s do not want to do another Surgery on any of the other Discs one is 6MM right now until it is pushing against a Nerve, to make the story short. I was on Work Comp pay for a year until they stopped my payments and said they could no longer help me, I had to file for SSDI. I am now on this. I am still under Workers Comp for Coverage as far as seeing Dr.s and Meds but they are going behind my back trying to get me off. This is unbelievable to me for the pain I am living in. I could never afford the Meds I have to take or the Dr. I have to see.
Before I The Workers Comp Attorney was done with me and could no longer do anything for me, (Which I felt they didn't do anything for me at all) They told me I should be covered for life. So how can Workers Comp try to do this behind my back? And can they? Now I have to live in fear. I also am moving out of Texas soon in a few months due to a Divorce and wondering how this will affect me.
Any help will be greatly appreaciated. I felt I have really been messed around from this entire situation and in Texas you cannot sue. Thank you for any responses.

It sounds like you should consult your former attorney about your situation, given that statement. Or, if you prefer, consult a new workers' comp attorney who can review the entire history of your case and the medical records.

Ok, Thanks Aaron. Seems it's hard to talk to my old Attorney now that they are no longer getting paid when they know my situation and Medical Records it would be so easy for them to tell me something, but that's how things go. I have a Stack of Medical Records about 2 feet high, no kidding. That's a lot to go through.
