World Of Warcraft Account Closed

Hello and thank you in advance for your response....

i bought the game and played onlie for 1 1/2 and allways paid and was a very good constomer...one day my account was comprimised because someone might have hacked my account and got my username and password...All i know it's that i tried to login one day and all i got "account closed". Why am i paying the price for a crime that happened to me.....I dont know what happened at all everytime i email them they respond saying.. Account was Closed and justified" .... What can be justified? I spent alot of time and money and i dont get a fair responce. And when you tell them that they cant just do that the say that it's the the terms of use that they can cancel an account without any reason? What kind of a consumer protection do i have? I lost everything because of someone elses fraudulent actions. If someone can help me know if there's something i can send them or do to protect myself i feel i've been stomped on. I dont get a reson if closer or nothing. How can they do that?

Did you violate their ToS?

Have you ever:

Purchased Gold?
Let a friend/guild friend use your account?
Use any bots/hacks - even anything as minor as an anti-afk script to get extra honor?
Something really obvious like purchase your account from eBay / craigslist?

How did you account get compromised? There are many hack/cheat/exploit programs that are really keyloggers/trojans in disguise.

There was a problem on thottbot at one point (1+ years ago) where an advertiser was using an IE exploit to compromise innocent victims' computers. (but only if they were running a very old version - IE 5.5 or older, IIRC)

Are you using WINE to run WoW through linux?

NO nothing of that kind....i use widoaws xp i run norton and it's allways updated....i dont understand what exactly happened they are not sending me any info about the justification they are talking about.... i will copy paste what they sent me so you can see.

You most likely will not like what I have to say, and I can not blame you.

Blizzard can close any account for any reason it wants. It is allowed to refuse service to anyone whenever they see fit. They give many reasons, but the fact is, you do not even need to break one of their rules. They own the characters, the items on the characters, and everything else on that account. Because of this, you have not lost anything, except the ability to play. I know it does not feel that way, you probably feel that you poured a lot of work into those characters, but you never owned the characters.
