Do i need permission to live with a relative

living at my home now is really awful, i am verbally abused, and have recently had to start seeing a psychiatrist about my "problems" i have asked my aunt if i could move in with her and she said it was fine but my parents wont let me. is there any way i can move in with my aunt without permission from my parents

Without having parental consent, your parents could call the police and have you hauled back home.

If this is an abuse issue then you need to go to the proper authorities and have it reported.

You can also talk with a teacher or a guidance counselor at school about your situation.

If OP is seeing a psychiatrist then OP must have said something about the abuse. This Doctor is mandated by Law to report abuse so I am guessing he/she feels this is not an abusive situation

Yes, they are mandated, but perhaps the OP hasn't told the psychiatrist the whole story.
