Your kidding right? If not I may die from laughter! You want to sue because you feel you were forced to steal!?

You can't get comp benefits because you're serving a criminal sentence for stealing. In any sense that's legally meaningful, your embezzlement was not caused by your work injury.

Question Re: Could I have a case?
hahahaha no im not saying i'd sue because my injury made it so i had to steal.thats just ludacris.what im sayin is it has made me lose a substantial amount of money because i've been unable to work and i dont care who u are, you cant survive on $166 a week, i mean ahotel room is 150 a week alone.
im asking if i could sue because my ankle is still locking up on me and i still cannot get a job due to not being able to be on my feet for longer than an hour.i've been getting workers comp on and off since march of 2005.
does workers comp stop a person from being able to sue for a slip and fall at work is what im asking. my workers comp doesnt even know about my embezzlement charge. can anybody help from here now that i've cleared that up? i know my injury didnt make me pocket that money but it did make me dead broke. Thanks.

Worker's compensation is the exclusive remedy for your work-related injury, meaning you cannot also file a personal injury suit against your employer.
