Question Effect of terminating an employee
if a business terminates an employee (not retaliatory) who is on worker's comp, say after 1 year, will the employee continue to receive his worker's comp benefits, or do they have to remain an "employee"?

Where I am unsure I would think SSI might be the correct option

An employer retains responsibility for any medical bills associated with a workers comp injury even after termination.
