    Default Mass. Statute of Limitations.

About 15 years ago a person I know was arrested for 3 DUI'S, he was never went to court and was never sentenced, he fled to another state and now he wishes to return to Mass. I was just wondering if he will have to do jail time when he comes back or is there a statute of limitations on DUI's???. He has been out of Mass for at least 15 years... he obtained a drivers license in the state he was in, will he be able to obtain one in mass??? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The statute of limitations stops running when you are charged. From what you say, he was charged. His choice to flee from justice doesn't make the charges go away.
