Minor Allowed To Move In With Boyfriend

I have read a few of the different enries regarding the emancipation of a 17 yr old. I have a situation that I haven't seen any information about so far in any of the forums, and wonder if there would be anything different about my particular situation.

I am the non-custodial parent of a 17 yr old girl and until recently, she has lived with her father. At the age of 16, her father allowed her to move out of his home in Missouri and into the home of her 18 yr old boyfriend who lives in Oklahoma City, OK.

Given this type of situation, would she have to follow the emancipation laws of Missouri, or would this follow Oklahoma emancipation laws? And, since she is already living outside the home and state with the permission of her father, would she still have to present the criteria to a court or judge? Wouldn't this gain her any special rights or circumstances regarding emancipation?

Why does she want to be emancipated, is she going to be signing contracts...?

Or is this a matter of wanting to stop child support?

it sounds like you need to get yourself into court and seek custody since the father seems to be derelict in his duties as a father.
