Default Virginia Workers Comp Permanent Partial Disability

Good afternoon. Virginia Workers Comp questions for the pros. If I have injuries to my hand and arm, are they considered the same injury or are they considered separate injuries when it comes to ppi payment.

    Thanks for your help

It would depend on the injuries. If you have an avulsion or fractureto your upper arm and carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms in your hand, they would likely be deemed separate. If you have a crushing injury to your hand and forearm from a single incident, they would likely be considered to be the same injury.
