Revoked drivers license and getting it back

I currently live in Missouri. In attempting to obtain a Missouri License, I discovered that I am revoked in Alabama. The ticket are from 1997. You need to contact the court in Alabama and pay your fines and then contact the Alabama DMV and pay another fine to have your license reinstated. There is no SOL.
