Can an Employer Single Out an Employee for Drug Testing

I have been employed for 13 year by the same company in Ohio. Recently a co-worker asked me about the drug testing procedure, I have no knowledge of this as no one that I know of from this company was ever required to take a drug test.

I am wondering if the company can single her out and force her to take the test?

I'm not aware of any Ohio laws which restrict an employer's right to drug test employees.

You are correct, Ohio doesn't have a law on the books regarding drug testing for employment purposes.
