Seatbelt Violation While On Probation

i really dont know who to talk to or where i would go so any information is VERY helpfull. you all will probably think im being paranoid but i want honest answers. a year to this day i got arrested for possesion of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon (did not know the laws). i went to court in august the gun charge was nole pro and i got a deferred sentence for the possesion of marijuana, ive been on probation and doing everything i had to do, i paid off the fines in 3 months, did my community service thru the jail, and took my drug and alcohol classes, i finished in december. i went to the PO this past friday the 12th i am officially non reporting. later that night i was driving down a highway and got pulled over for a seatbelt violation and got a ticket for not wearing it. now my question is will that mess with my probation? everyone is telling me its not a moving violation and just pay it and forget about it. its a $15 dollar ticket. i wrote a question a couple weeks back and i appreciate the answer i got the police called me the next day and told me it was a no-go, part of my probation was to forfeit the weapon so it still is. i asked the police officer i was talking to if i could go get another one and wouldnt have any problems, he said i can go get another one and i went today, they put it as delayed and ill find out in 3 days, what is the reason for this? i appreciate any answers i can get, i think im just worrying to much.

What is the reason for it being delayed? Depending on the state you live in, as part of standard procedure, it is normal to have to wait for the final sale of the weapon. The place of purchase must do all the necessary paperwork and run the checks before fully handing over the gun to the customer. You must be "approved".

The seatbelt violation should not affect your probation, because it is a traffic violation. Usually one would have to commit a criminal offense to violate probation.

i live in gwinnett county georgia, though government offices are closed today i went to one and talked to a cop sitting out front of it, he told me the seatbelt violation was not a serious offense and was not a violation of probation,but to inform my po of the ticket. i didnt ask him about the gun, but i looked at the laws and it seems felons and domestic violence people are not allowed to get a gun, i have quite a rap sheet for alot of dumb stuff somethings always going on but i think i will get it. To the law officials, i may have a record but i am not a criminal, just wrong places at wrong time.
