Default Miranda question
I was arrested last night. The cop had questioned me about several things before he read me my rights, i was in cuffs the whole time he questioned me, but he eventually read me my rights and asked the same questions later. Does the answers i gave him before i was read my rights cancel out the questions he asked me later because of it being in violation?

During the first set of questions were you arrested or detained? Discuss with your Attorney if your miranda rights were violated

What does that have to do with the question?

There may sometimes be a case to suppress a later confession based on prior conduct, but it doesn't sound particularly probable in this case. But that's an assessment that should be made by your lawyer.

Did something in your original statements lead the officer into a line of questioning, or reveal some self-incriminating evidence the officer otherwise wouldn't have known, before the second Mirandized interrogation began?
