    We have been in NC for approximately 3 years now. It is a good place to raise a family. The cost of living is good and the crime rate is very low.

    I learned from another site - that this is one of the states that it can be a "do it yourself" situation. You are able to download forms from the NC site.

    You can go to this site and type in "7B" in the "Full-Text Search" function.

    After you open that up you will find information for the following:

    Step-parents adoption information (Article 4).
    Terminating parental rights (Article 11).

    Decree of Adoption Form:
