Default Late filing for conditional status

I petitioned my fiance and we were married before the 90-day period for the k-1. But we forgot to submit the paperwork to change her status. We were married in October 2004. Can we still file for her status change?

Thanks for your reply. We didn't have the money to file right after we got married and we forgot about it. Someone we know just reminded us about. But I'm filling out the I-485 an I'm not sure what her current USCIS status is for the I-485?
