Hello,I was applying for a political asylum 4 years ago,and the immigration officer refer us to immigration judge we showed up for our first court date which is to set up the date for the judge to hear our case(I think they called "master hearing")we didn't have a lawyer until almost time for our master hearing we found a lawyer and he asked to rescheduled our master hearing,so it was rescheduled for the next 6 months and the lawyer wanted us while waiting for the master hearing to look for proof like a medical record or police report from our country(my husband beaten almost to death by those native people)The lawyer said if we can't find the proof than it will be very difficult for us to be granted/approved for asylum,we tried to contact our family who still leave there to ask for those paperwork to support our case but it's very impossible to get it as the law enforcment there/police is also agaist our race and so is the hospital they won't give us any record for what happened to my husband that day.The native people in our country is very racial, they hate our race and our religion. Finally the master hearing date came and stupidlly we didn't show up because we were afraid that they going to send us back there. The immigration judge ordered us to be removed from the US immediatly but we moved to other apartement hope they won't find us.The order was in 2004,late 2006 ICE found us and come to our apt but my husband were not there, only me and my 2 years old daughter, they didn't arrest us so we moved to new apt now hope they won't find us again. My daughter was born 26 week or 14 weeks early,so she needs a lot of medical help for her developmet, she has a chronic lung desceas under supervision pulmonologist and on speech therapy. We are tired of living on fear either in our country or here(now we know that they are looking for us)Is there anything that I can do to make us legal here after the order of removal, can the order be cancel?I love my daughter and want her to get the best possibble health care for her but if we have to go back there, can we ask the judge to give us time at least until her conditions get better and she complete all her theraphy? It is not easy living like this and if we can make it,we will,we will do anything to make us legal to stay here.We are in California.
