I wish I would have known about this site sooner but heres the story. I was a member of 24 hour fitness and while bench pressing one day I tore my pec and had to have surgery can I sue

What was the nature of the defect in the machine? How did the defect come into existence? Did the gym know of the defect before you were injured? And this happened in what state?
