NY Expungement

my father more than 20 years ago was arrested for shoplifting (under 20 dollars worth) and got a fine, misdemeanor...could he get that expunged now, he has had no other record since. thank you

New York law permits expungement of arrest records where the charge is resolved in favor of the arrested person.
