Legal Changes for Underage Spouse

I hope this is the appropriate place to put this thread, if not feel free to redirect .

I am currently seventeen(17) years of age and have just gotten engaged to my boyfriend of one(1) year who is eighteen(18) years of age. I have already looked up and studied my states marriage laws. It states that with proper identification , parental consent and signiture I can legally marry. But, my real question is, me being under the legal age to be qualified as an "Adult" how will that affect our future purchases. Will I be able to co-sign on things, will him and I both be able to put our names on leases, loans, ect..I tried doing my own research but, I couldn't figure out what exactly I was looking for or how to phrase my searches.

If you all could help me with this I'd appreciate it very much. Links, replies , anything would be helpful.

In most of the states I researched (if not all), a minor is considered emancipated once they marry.

Ok I have to ask why the overall concern about your name going on everything? Your in the marriage for the long haul.

Obviously you didn't understand the point of my question and I'm sorry if it offended.

It's not that I'm concerned with having my name on everything, my question was about because I am underage will that cause problems for him and I both. I have no problem with him being sole owner of whatever it is we share because I completely trust him but, I also deserve to have my name on stuff as much as he does. If I was worried about getting or keeping things if this marriage should fall apart I'd sign a Prenuptial agreement. Aslo, he works 5 days of the week and while he's at work I can work on having the power turned on, requring phone services ..ect..
